Wow!  I can't believe that it has been about a year since I wrote here last.  Actually I wasn't sure if it would still be here.  I thought about starting a new one, but thought it would be easier to just keep on this one.  So a new background and a new start!  I won't promise that I'll write lots, but I'll do this one and see where it takes us.  

I can't believe how hot it has been in Abbotsford this summer.  We were doing pretty good, but last week seemed to be slightly unbearable in our house.  The upstairs was about two degrees hotter then outside.  So we spent time in our  kiddie pool, and then when it got too hot to be outside, we tried to be in our air-conditioned bedrooms (which we slurged on last summer - and so glad we did!) and find air-conditioned places to go to, like the Library, Costco and Ikea.  Thank goodness this week is supposed to be cooler, and by cooler I still mean 30 degrees some days.  Although the end of the week is supposed to get rain.  Ahh, Abbotsford!
